1. Used for carriage holding nut. To unscrew the carriage nut, place the large space in the wrench over the carriage nut. The smaller space in the wrench will run over the spring housing (part no. 2131) and save it from damage. |

2. Used to unscrew threaded ring (part no: 2145) Place which ever straight side of the wrench fits into the Curta, there are 4 small spaces in the threaded ring, choose two spaces on opposite sides of the ring to lock the wrench corners. Now the threaded ring can be unscrewed. Avoid placing the wrench near the fixation pin. |
