Charles Webster & Co. Ltd. were suppliers of Imperial Typewriters. The business was at 11 Queensgate, Inverness. In addition, calculators from Frieden, Multo and Contina were also sold.

The picture shows a Curta Type 1 and a green Curta demonstration box. There are also two small posters - one shows a young woman calculating with a Curta, the other is based on a well-known advertising brochure (...unfortunately, the light is reflected on the shiny surface). According to the information provided, the picture was taken in 1952 - a detailed analysis of the picture revealed that the items shown could also date from this period...
