Curta Type 2a - Prototype P-004 with 12 X 7 X 16 digits - Prototype plastic canister
Two other identical copies of this prototype canister for the Curta Type 2a are known. They were (possibly) used as a replacement - or accidentally - in place of the regular canister. Both were used with an early Curta Type 2 (serial number 5004XX). The number of these prototype canisters originally produced is unknown.
